Chemilizer Injectors

RAPID has partnered with Chemilizer to offer their durable and affordable diaphragm water driven injectors. Their unique pistonless design does not introduce any chemical into the motor resulting in better reliability than your average injector. See the brochure (below) for more information.

Chemilizer's non-electric injectors are used for adding a variety of additives during plant production. For greenhouse and nursery operations they provide an affordable and easy to operate means of adding fertilizers, soil conditioners, and pH adjusting chemicals. Other benefits include reduction in labor costs, reduction of waste and better environmental control.

Growers currently using injectors will quickly recognize the quality and accuracy of our injectors when compared to other brands. Our design, using a diaphragm driven water motor and separate chemical pump ensures the most cost effective operation.

Whether you use overhead spray booms, spray heads, drip or micro irrigation, Chemilizer injectors integrate easily into your system. They can also be mounted on carts for spot treatment.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which Chemilizer model should be used in my application?

Answer: For flow rates of 1 GPH to 12 GPM - use the HN55, for flow rates of 12 GPM to 2500 GPM the CP33 should be used

What chemicals can be used with the Chemilizer injector?

Answer: Fertilizers, algaecides, fungicides, insecticides, pH controllers, bio-stimulants, Wetting Agents, Disinfectants, Spraying and more. Chemilizer injectors are very resistant to attack from most solutions. http://chemilizer.com/site_images/trans_spcr1.gif

What is the best installation for both the HN55 and the CP33?

Answer:

How do I determine how to mix my stock solution?

Answer: This can be done on our fertilizer calculator http://chemilizer.com/site_images/trans_spcr1.gif

How do I determine what PPM or amount of chemical is being injected into my system?

Answer: This can be determined by using the PPM chart . The amount of chemical is determined by the flow meter which is calibrated from 1 OPH to 6 GPH.

Disclaimer: to accurately determine PPM of fertilizers an, EC meter is recommended to test the water supply http://chemilizer.com/site_images/trans_spcr1.gif

How do I use the PPM chart with the CP33?

Answer: This is an easy 3-Step Process:

First: Determine the total GPM in your irrigation system:

  • Multiply total number of emitters by the water flow rate rated for each emitter.

Second: Determine PPM desired for application.

  • Start at the top LEFT box on PPM chart:
  • Go to the RIGHT to the total GPM setting in your irrigation system, and go DOWN to desired PPM setting.
  • Then follow the PPM setting all the way to the LEFT to the float setting. This is your meter setting, and this is set by adjusting inlet or outlet valve on bypass installation.

Third: Ex. While looking at the PPM chart:

  • If your desired PPM is 100 and the total GPM in the irrigation system is 25, then the setting should be approx. 1.5.

Would I use the PPM chart with the HN55?

Answer: No, because the HN55 is a preset injector that delivers a specific PPM based on the ratio pump you choose.

  • 2:100 = 20,000 PPM
  • 1:100 = 10,000 PPM
  • 2:128 = 15600 PPM
  • 1:128 = 7800 PPM
  • 1:250 = 3900 PPM
  • 1:500 = 1950 PPM

How do I change the ratio on my HN55?

Answer: The chemical pump assembly is available in different ratios and can easily be removed and changed to a different ratio when desired.

Will the external or remote injection of the chemicals mix properly into my water system?

Answer: Yes, we have tested this and chemicals are thoroughly mixed by time they have traveled 18" into any irrigation line
